Hi, I’m Mark Britt, and I’ll be your instructor here at Mastodon Trade Institute.

I’ve spent over 13 years in the construction industry, working hands-on across a wide range of trades. I’m a Licensed General A Engineering Contractor, the CEO, and Responsible Managing Officer (RMO) of Mastodon Engineering Group LLC—a licensed construction company I built and operate to this day.

My experience includes:

• Running a licensed construction business from the ground up

• Managing residential, commercial, state, and government projects

• Overseeing every phase of construction—from fieldwork to executive decisions

But more than anything I’ve built, I believe my greatest purpose is helping you become a licensed contractor. I created these courses to share the real-world skills, strategies, and insights I’ve learned—so you can pass the CSLB trade exam and start your own path in this essential industry.
