Our program is designed to provide both foundational knowledge and skilled video instruction in key areas of the construction industry. Whether you're new to construction or looking to advance your career, this curriculum offers a clear, practical pathway through essential trades and building practices.
The curriculum is currently structured into 13 core chapters, with additional topics and advanced modules planned for future expansion.

Introduction to land measurement, equipment usage, and reading topographic maps.
🔹 CHAPTER 2: Grading
Understanding site leveling, cut and fill calculations, and slope management.
🔹 CHAPTER 3: Excavation
Safe digging practices, soil types, trenching, and shoring fundamentals.
🔹 CHAPTER 4: USA 811 / Utility Identification
Call-before-you-dig protocol, underground utility markings, and utility avoidance.
🔹 CHAPTER 5: Street Improvement
Paving, curb and gutter installation, ADA compliance, and traffic control planning.
🔹 CHAPTER 6: Erosion & Sedimentation Control
Stormwater management, BMPs (Best Management Practices), and SWPPP basics.
🔹 CHAPTER 7: Foundations
Footings, slab-on-grade, pier and beam systems, and geotechnical considerations.
🔹 CHAPTER 8: Concrete
Mix designs, formwork, placing and finishing, curing, and concrete testing.
🔹 CHAPTER 9: Structural Systems of Buildings
Framing methods, load paths, seismic design, and materials selection.
🔹 CHAPTER 10: Walls
Types of walls: retaining, load-bearing, shear, drywall, and partition systems.
🔹 CHAPTER 11: Electrical / Ohm’s Law
Basic electrical theory, Ohm’s Law, residential and commercial wiring standards.
🔹 CHAPTER 12: Safety
OSHA compliance, PPE, job hazard analysis, and safe work practices.
🔹 CHAPTER 13: Estimating
Quantity takeoffs, cost estimating, bid preparation, and software tools.
